Vickie Aldridge
Vickie is a certified Iyengar Yoga Instructor, with over 30 years of experience in yoga. She has studied with the Iyengars many times, both in the United States and India, with the most recent being January 2007. She and her husband Jerry, own the Boise Yoga Center and also teach Yoga at Boise State University. Vickie has been a guest Yoga teacher for many years at various cities throughout the U.S. She feels her Yoga practice helps her through the many challenges of life. Her teaching style is patient, clear, warmhearted and joyful. She has a particular interest in therapeutic Yoga and has been working in that field for over 12 years. Vickie was on staff at Idaho Rehabilitation & Pain Center, teaching Yoga to chronic pain patients and also at St.Alphonsus Ambulatory & Rehabilitative Services (STARS) creating private Yoga programs for a broad range of patients. Vickie has received the confidence of physical therapists, doctors, her patients and students. Vickie is a 15-year member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists.

Jerry Aldridge
Jerry is originally from Kentucky and served in the Vietnam War. He was an aircraft technician for over 20 years and came to yoga to rehabilitate a shoulder injury from weight lifting. He now does massage and yoga. Jerry is the only male certified Iyengar Yoga Instructor in Idaho. He has been practicing yoga for over 15 years and has studied with the Iyengars in the U.S. and India. He feels that his teaching has been most influenced by George Purvis and John Friend. He teaches at the Boise Yoga Center, Boise State University and Corporate Yoga. Jerry brings to his teaching a practical approach and a great sense of humor, and encourages his students to move beyond their perceived limitations.

James Burton
James Burton is a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher who has recently relocated to Boise from Sydney, Australia where he studied yoga for nine years with one of BKS Iyengar's most senior students, Pixie Lillas, as well as with the Iyengars in Pune, India. James has a challenging yet supportive teaching style. He particularly enjoys teaching beeginners and gets a great sense of satisfaction seeing them progress in their practice.

Don Gura
Don Gura is a certified Iyengar Yoga instructor who embraced yoga after a life of physical and competitive sports. he brings an active rejuvenating tone to his classes. Don has studied yoga since 1995 and has studied in India with the Iyengars, most recently December, 2006.

Cristina Trevisan
Cristina Trevisan is a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher with a degree in Physical Education, and originally from Brazil. After many years dedicated to dance, she began her journey in yoga ten years ago while living in Granada, Spain. Since finishing her teacher training with Senior Teacher, Jose Maria Vigar, she has continued her yoga studies by attending yoga courses in Spain and in the United States. Cristina first began teaching in 2003 and taught the University of Granada Yoga Program for several years. She approaches her teaching with compassion, intuition, clarity, and with the mindset that every student is unique.

Kimberly Lee
Kimberly began studying yoga in 1992. She was initially drawn to yoga in order to recuperate from guiding outdoor adventure trips. Kimberly has been able to travel throughout the United States to study with prominent yoga teachers and was recently certified in the Iyengar method. Kimberly continues to practice encompassing the eight limbs of yoga in her everyday life. She brings a passionate and playful style to her classes.

M'Tae
Michele Tae (M’Tae) has taught yoga in Boise for over twenty years. Trained in Iyengar yoga, Trager Bodywork, and meditation, she has developed an approach to teaching yoga that explores the intersection of body, mind and soul. She is an ordained Zen Buddhist Chaplain, a writer and a storyteller. Her current focus is on weaving together movement, story and sound as a way to touch stillness, freedom and joy.

Barbara Harris
Barbara Harris got serious about yoga 15 years ago when a doctor recommended surgery for a back injury. The surgery was avoided and the pain is a thing of the past, and like so many, she became hooked on yoga in the process. She has come to enjoy many of the physical, mental and emotional benefits that yoga brings to her life. She began teaching 3 years ago and is currently working toward Iyengar certification. Barb enjoys sharing her own joy and enthusiasm for the practice with her students.

Susan Lamberson
Susan Lamberson was introduced to yoga in the 1970’s through a book from her father. Since then her life has always been enhanced by the experience of yoga.
She began formal study of Iyengar yoga with Bobbi Goldin at the Yoga Institute of Miami 1994. In 1996 she moved to Three Rivers, CA, where she opened Yoga of the Sequoias and taught for over twelve years. She is committed to yoga as an evolving discipline and passes that knowledge to her students. Her classes are described as inspiring and playful. She looks forward to meeting you.
