A Mindful Practice with M'Tae.

This eight-week series of classes will explore developing our “sensing” awareness while practicing yoga asana. We will listen to the body as it tells its’ story. Students are encouraged to keep a journal throughout the eight weeks.  Every class will include guided meditation and yoga movement.

This class is open to beginning yoga asana students and anyone who wants to combine mindfulness with body movement.

A Day of Practice and Reflection with Cristina Trevisan
"Day of Practice and Reflection" - In this five hour class we will practice asanas and pranayama, and have a chat about yoga philosophy over tea.

$85 for the first session of 1.5 hours
$60 for follow-up sessions at one hour

Vickie Aldridge has over 30 years experience in yoga and has a personal interest in the therapeutic aspects of the practice, having used yoga to assist her in many ways over her lifetime of practice.


Special Focus Class - by appointment only.
All students must preregister, pay full amount before class starts, and have a brief
interview with Vickie.

Vickie will design a special Yoga program to specifically address each student’s personal
needs. This class may be taken in conjunction with other Yoga classes to enhance the
student’s understanding. The class may be repeated for many months and the routine can be
adjusted depending on the student’s needs and progress. Each student in this class will learn
to be perform their own individualized program, with the goal of becoming independent in the
class. These students may also come to open practice on Friday mornings at no additional
charge and work on their routine independently.

10 week session: Feb 4 - Apr 8
Continuing students:$200.00
New Students: $250.00
Thursdays 3:30 - 5:00 PM

Intro for Beginners in ESPANOL
Tell all of your friends that we are now offering an intro course for beginners in SPANISH!! Taught by certified Iyengar teacher, Cristina Trevisan. So, even if you are a current yoga practitioner, this is an opportunity to hone those Spanish skills. Tell all of your friends!


In-Depth Study with Vickie 2009 - 2010
Canceled for 2009.


$500 for all, paid in full by October 2, $600 after.
- for dedicated students who desire to deepen their understanding and practice
- for students interested in pursuing Yoga teaching and perhaps Iyengar certification
- for current Yoga teachers desiring to sharpen their teaching skills
- for teachers interested in problems that arise and therapeutic applications

The ancient practice of Yoga involves man in his entire being, physical, mental, emotional and
spiritual.The discipline of Yoga awakens the sleeping body at all these levels, cultivates new
awareness and brings a positive change.As knowledge grows, the practitioner will be better
equipped to share Yoga with others. This program is designed to bring a balance to the
student’s practice ~ the practice of life.

VICKIE ALDRIDGE is a certified Iyengar Yoga Instructor with over 30 years of experience.
She has studied with the Iyengars many times, both in the United States and India, with the
most recent being January 2007. She and her husband, Jerry, own the Boise Yoga Center and
also teach Yoga at Boise State University. Vickie has been a guest Yoga teacher for many
years at various cities throughout the U.S. Vickie’s Yoga practice helps her through the many
challenges of life. Her teaching style is patient, clear, precise and warmhearted. Vickie has a
particular interest in therapeutic Yoga and has been working in that field for over 12 years.
She was on staff at Idaho Rehabilitation & Pain Center teaching Yoga to chronic pain patients
and also at St. Alphonsus Ambulatory & Rehabilitative Services (STARS) creating private Yoga
programs for a broad range of patients. Vickie has received the confidence of physical
therapists, doctors, her patients and students. Vickie is a 19-year member of the International
Association of Yoga Therapists.

$500 for all 5 weekends or $125/weekend

October 2 - 3 / Standing Poses with Vickie
November 6 - 7 / Standing Poses and Inversions with Vickie
January 22 - 23 / Forward Bends and Twists with Vickie
February 26 - 27 / Backbends with Vickie
March 19 - 20 / Restorative with Vickie

Daily Schedule with Vickie: Friday, 3 - 6pm
Saturday, noon - 2pm and 3 - 5pm

Kids Classes
Kids, Ages 6-12

We would enjoy providing a teacher for a special class for kids. Get a group of at least 5 and we'll make it happen. Suggested session : 4 weeks.



Daily led practice with Certified Iyengar Yoga Teachers, Vickie, Jerry, Don, James and Cristina.

$150.00, Pre-registration recommended to assure your spot.

Studies have shown that it takes 21 days to create a habit. Let this be your experiment and see how it affects your life. Students should have 3 - 6 months experience with a foundation in standing poses, be practicing shoulderstand and working on their headstand.
